BIO

My name is Olivia D'Andrea, and I'm a senior at Fordham University where I'm studying Journalism and Digital Technology & Emerging Media. I am simultaneously minoring in American Studies while on the Pre-Law track. For as long as I can remember, I have been the one to record everything. I'm so grateful that my hobbies have turned into passions, and I am continuously learning about digital production in tandem with my writing abilities. During the summer months, I reside in Waverly, Pennsylvania with my parents and my older brother.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Through everything I do, I am constantly learning more about the evolving, crazy world around me. Typically, my work incorporates themes of feminism, reflection, and experimentation, and I am certain that my love of learning will only continue to expand as I grow as an artist, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and a woman. Working with video has always been, as I see it, one of the most influential methods of employing tones and shedding light on any particular topic, which is why much of my work focuses on film. My work is reflective of my mind, and I will be the advocate for those who may not have the same ability to speak as I do.
